The Stables is perfectly situated for an ideal weekend retreat for country pursuits, being at the centre of a network of bridleways and footpaths, perfect for horse riding, hiking, cycling and walking holidays. We have our own separate stables if you would like to bring a horse, but please check availability. Moreton Stables and Equestrian centre is also nearby.

The B&B is perfect for visitors to local hunts or shoots with parties of up to 6 people welcome. Our location is ideal for visitors to Bryanston School, Milton Abbey or Clayesmore. Many of our guests also stop over en-route to Devon and Cornwall.

Local shops and amenities aren't far away, with the nearest town of Blandford Forum being just a few miles away. Poole, the ferry port and Bournemouth airport are within a half hour drive.

There are excellent beaches at Sandbanks and Studland and Dorset also offers many interesting National Trust and Heritage properties to visit as well as the beautiful Jurassic Coast.
