The Stables B&B is a newly converted detached stable on a traditional family run working farm close to Spetisbury, in the heart of rural Dorset, but just 3 miles from Blandford Forum.
Perfect for activity breaks in the picturesque Dorset countryside, particularly cycling, horse riding, shooting or hunting, we also have stabling for horses. Gorcombe Extreme Sports is close by and offers paint-balling, quad-biking and clay shooting. A tennis court is also available on request.
The Stables has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, but we have another double room available in the farm cottage next door if you are visiting as a larger group. There is also a bathroom and snug with small living, dining and kitchen area with fridge and combi oven for basic food preparation. Self catering also available.
Home to the 1954 Cheltenham Gold Cup Winner, Four Ten, the stables also has a fascinating history.
Breakfast is served in the farm cottage and you will also be welcomed with a Dorset tea! For other meals, we can recommend many excellent local pubs and restaurants. We look forward to seeing you!
